Triglycerides
Triglycerides are a kind of fat in your blood. When you eat, your body saves extra calories as triglycerides in fat cells. Between meals, hormones release these triglycerides to give you energy. Women with PCOS often have abnormal lipid levels, like high low-density lipoprotein (LDL), high triglycerides, and low high-density lipoprotein (HDL).
