Amenorrhea

Amenorrhea is when a female of reproductive age doesn't have her period. It's normal to not have periods during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Besides the reproductive years, women don't have periods in childhood and after menopause. Many women with PCOS either don't get their periods or have irregular cycles, known as oligomenorrhea.
