Oligomenorrhea

Oligomenorrhea is when someone has menstrual periods that come less often. Usually, periods happen more than 35 days apart, with fewer than 9 periods in a year, even if they were regular before. The periods might be lighter or shorter and not follow a regular schedule. This often happens in women with polycystic ovaries.
