Glycemic Index

The glycemic index (GI) is a number that shows how much certain foods raise your blood sugar. Foods are labeled as low, medium, or high GI and are scored from 0 to 100. A lower GI number means the food has less impact on your blood sugar. People with PCOS might be advised to follow a low GI diet.
